AKAI SoundBar-100W 2.1 Channel Soundbar Speaker

The 100W output is more than enough for my room. I usually keep the volume moderate, but there is plenty of headroom when watching movies. The subwoofer makes the whole setup feel more complete.

The subwoofer is definitely the star here. It adds the kind of bass you simply don't get from regular TV speakers. The soundbar has a clean, low-profile design and fits nicely under my TV.

Connected my gaming console through HDMI and the sound feels much more immersive than the built-in TV audio. Bass has enough weight for explosions without completely covering the other sounds.

The AKAI SB-100 feels like a big step up from my TV's built-in speakers. Voices are clearer and the dedicated subwoofer adds noticeably more bass. The setup is straightforward, and I like having HDMI ARC and Bluetooth available.

The wired subwoofer is the best part for me. It gives movies that low-end impact without making the overall sound too muddy. Music also sounds much fuller now.

Setup was pretty straightforward. I connected it through HDMI ARC and it started working with the TV without much fiddling. Bass is strong and the soundbar itself doesn’t take up much space.

I like the difference the 2.1-channel setup makes when watching movies. Dialogue is easier to follow and action scenes have more impact because of the external subwoofer. It makes casual movie nights feel more immersive.

Having HDMI ARC, Optical, AUX, USB and Bluetooth gives plenty of options for connecting different devices. I mainly use HDMI ARC with my TV and Bluetooth with my phone. It's nice not to be limited to one connection method.

For regular TV shows, sports and streaming, the SB-100 provides a much fuller sound than built-in TV speakers. The 100W RMS output and separate subwoofer give the audio more presence without needing a complicated home-theater setup.

The included remote makes it convenient to adjust the sound without getting up every time. I also like the preset EQ modes because they make it easy to change the sound depending on what I'm watching or listening to.

This is a practical option for a bedroom or smaller TV room. It doesn't require a complicated speaker arrangement, but the 2.1-channel design still gives movies and music more depth than standard TV audio.

I use the SB-100 for both TV viewing and music. The external subwoofer makes a noticeable difference with songs that have stronger bass. Bluetooth connectivity is especially convenient when I just want to play music from my phone.

I wanted better TV audio without installing a full surround-sound system. The SB-100 gives me a soundbar and dedicated subwoofer in a relatively simple setup. The different input options are useful for connecting other devices too.

The LED display is a useful feature when switching between inputs or adjusting the volume. The soundbar also has a clean appearance, while the included wall-mounting clamps provide another installation option.

The SB-100 offers a good combination of features for everyday entertainment. I like the 100W output, dedicated 5.25-inch subwoofer, Bluetooth 5.3 and multiple wired inputs. Overall, it is designed as a straightforward upgrade over basic TV speakers.

The dedicated subwoofer gives action scenes much more impact. I mostly use the soundbar with my TV through HDMI ARC, and the setup was quite straightforward.

Bass performance is excellent and the subwoofer makes movie sound feel cinematic.

Bluetooth 5.3 connection has been stable so far. I mostly use it for music from my phone, and the sound has enough punch for a medium-sized room. The LED display is also useful for checking the current mode.

I needed something that could work with both newer and older devices, so the HDMI ARC, optical, AUX and USB inputs were useful. Switching between sources is also simple.

Small feature, but I really like the LED display. It makes checking the input and volume much easier, especially when the room is dark. The overall sound quality is also quite good.

I liked having HDMI ARC, optical, AUX and USB in one soundbar. Currently using HDMI with my TV and Bluetooth for music. The Class D amplifier keeps the unit fairly efficient while still delivering plenty of volume.

The subwoofer gives deep bass and movies sound much better now.

After using this soundbar for a few weeks, I can say the bass and voice clarity are both really impressive.
