Getting your product serviced under warranty is simple. Follow these four steps.

Keep your original purchase invoice, model number, and serial number ready. Our team will verify your warranty eligibility.

Our team will guide you to the nearest authorised AKAI service centre or arrange an on-site visit depending on your product.
Get Repaired or Replaced
Our certified technicians will repair or replace the defective part. You will be notified once the service is complete.
Warranty Policy & Terms

This warranty is valid from the date of original retail purchase and applies only to the original purchaser. Warranty is non-transferable.
Proof of purchase (original tax invoice/receipt) must be presented at the time of service. Warranty claims without valid proof of purchase will not be accepted.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions as described in the product user manual.
Warranty is void if the product has been repaired, modified, or tampered with by any person or service centre not authorised by AKAI India.
Physical damage, cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, broken plastic), or damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, fire, flood, earthquake or other external causes are not covered.
Water or liquid damage of any kind is not covered under this warranty.
Damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described in the product documentation is not covered.
Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to battery degradation, fading of colours and material deterioration, is not covered.
Warranty service will be provided only at authorised AKAI India service centres. AKAI reserves the right to use new or refurbished replacement parts.
AKAI India reserves the right to repair or replace the defective product or part at its sole discretion. Replaced products or parts become the property of AKAI India.
This warranty does not cover products purchased outside India. Products purchased in India are only eligible for warranty service within India.
AKAI India shall not be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of revenue resulting from the use or inability to use the product.
Air conditioners must be installed by a certified AKAI-authorised technician. Damage or refrigerant leakage caused by improper installation is not covered. The 5-year compressor warranty applies only to the compressor motor and does not include refrigerant gas refilling.

How long is the warranty on AKAI products?
Most AKAI products come with a 1-year comprehensive warranty. Air conditioners and refrigerators carry an additional 5-year warranty on the compressor, giving you greater peace of mind.
Is the warranty transferable to a new owner?
No. The AKAI warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. The warranty is valid only when the original proof of purchase is presented.
What documents do I need to claim warranty?
You will need: • Original purchase invoice or tax receipt showing the product model, serial number, purchase date and retailer details • Warranty card (if provided in the box) • Valid photo ID of the original purchaser
What if my product cannot be repaired?
If AKAI determines that the product cannot be repaired, or if repair is not economically viable, AKAI India reserves the right to replace the product with an equivalent model or offer a suitable resolution at its discretion.

Does the warranty cover accessories and remote controls?
Yes. Accessories and remote controls supplied in the original product box are covered under the 1-year comprehensive warranty against manufacturing defects. Accessories purchased separately carry their own warranty terms.
