This Cancellation Policy applies exclusively to purchases made through Akai India’s official website, www.akaiindia.in. By placing an order on this platform, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set forth herein. Orders may only be cancelled prior to dispatch from Akai’s warehouse. Once an order has been packed, shipped, or marked as “Out for Delivery,” it is no longer eligible for cancellation under any condition. Customers are therefore advised to make purchase decisions carefully. To initiate a cancellation request before dispatch, the customer must contact Akai’s customer support promptly via email at akaicare@akai.in or through the designated helpline. All cancellation approvals are subject to real-time order status and internal validation by Akai. No cancellations will be permitted for customised items, limited-edition products, promotional offerings, or any items marked as “Final Sale” or “Not for Sale.” If a cancellation is approved prior to dispatch, the order amount will be refunded to the original mode of payment within seven to ten business days. Customers must not refuse delivery unless expressly directed by Akai India’s support team. Any unauthorised refusal of delivery may result in account-level restrictions, denial of future orders, and withdrawal of customer support privileges. Self-arranged returns, informal handoffs, or third-party courier returns initiated without Akai’s written approval shall not be accepted or acknowledged under any circumstance. Akai India does not process refunds once an order has been dispatched. Only product replacements/exchanges will be considered, subject to Akai India’s Replacement & Exchange Policy. If a customer seeks a replacement, they are required to contact Akai India’s support team immediately upon receiving the delivery. Replacements will be accepted only for products that are fully unopened, unused, untampered, and returned in original condition with complete and intact packaging. Approval of a replacement request is strictly subject to Akai’s internal review and compliance verification. For all products, customers must provide time-stamped photos or videos clearly capturing the unboxing process. Products that have been opened independently, used in any capacity, tampered with, or returned in damaged or incomplete packaging will be automatically disqualified from replacement eligibility. For bundled product purchases, cancellation will only be accepted if the entire bundle is cancelled prior to dispatch. Partial cancellations of individual items within a bundle are not permitted under any circumstances. In the event that Akai India is unable to fulfill an order due to product unavailability, stock limitations, or logistical challenges, the company reserves the right to cancel the order in full or in part. In such cases, the customer will be informed promptly and offered a suitable alternative model for replacement. Akai India shall not be held liable for order cancellations caused by force majeure events, technical failures, or operational circumstances beyond its reasonable control. All decisions made by Akai India regarding cancellations, replacements, or refusals shall be final, non-negotiable, and binding.
