This Replacement & Exchange Policy applies exclusively to purchases made through Akai India’s official website, www.akaiindia.in. By placing an order on this platform, the customer agrees to be legally bound by the terms stated herein. These provisions do not apply to purchases made through third-party e-commerce platforms, unauthorized resellers, or offline retail outlets. Customers may raise a request for replacement within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of delivery, subject to the product being in original factory condition and accompanied by all accessories, manuals, warranty cards, cables, and the original purchase invoice. Products must not show any signs of tampering, usage, damage, or unboxing prior to official verification, and must not be installed or moved from their original delivery location. Any deviation from these conditions will render the product ineligible. For audio products and washing machines, the customer must share an unboxing video or clear photographs immediately upon delivery to validate any claims of manufacturing defects, physical damage, or incorrect shipments. Products with missing accessories, tampering, visible use, or self-installation will not qualify for replacement or exchange. Only verified claims, supported by visual evidence and approved by Akai’s customer support team, will be considered eligible within the 15-day window. For large appliances—including but not limited to air conditioners, televisions, and IFPDs—eligibility for replacement or exchange is strictly limited to verified manufacturing defects or physical damage discovered at the time of installation by an authorized Akai engineer. If the product is unboxed, installed, or relocated before official inspection by Akai engineer, all claims under this policy, including warranty, shall be rendered null and void. Replacements or exchanges will be offered only in the case of verified manufacturing defects, physical damage at delivery (duly documented and approved), or incorrect shipments. Approved cases will be eligible for replacement with the same model or, subject to stock availability, an exchange for another model of equal or higher value. If the customer opts for a higher-value model, the price difference must be paid in full prior to dispatch. Exchanges for lower-value models or discretionary price refunds will not be entertained. For bundled product purchases, replacements will only be issued if the entire bundle is returned. Partial return or replacement of individual items within a bundle is not permitted under any circumstances. Products labelled as “Not for Sale,” clearance items, promotional giveaways, or personalized/customized items are strictly non-returnable and non-replaceable. All approved replacements or exchanges will be processed within fifteen (15) to twenty (20) business days from the date of reverse pickup and successful inspection. Akai shall not be held responsible for delays caused by logistics partners, third-party service providers, or force majeure circumstances. All products sold on www.akaiindia.in are covered under Akai India’s standard warranty terms, as specified in the product documentation or warranty card. In case of any issue after the replacement window, the product will be handled as per the applicable warranty terms, which may include repair or other resolutions as determined by Akai India’s service team.
